As Blockchain has become one of the most intriguing topics in the technology industry, we have interviewed a Blockchain specialist Nick Huber who is also the Chief Operations of Lamden. He is a serial entrepreneur and advisor to a number of blockchain firms.
Can you tell us some of the key advantages you think blockchain brings to the world?
A: Sure, here are some of the key advantages I see from blockchain technology related to the industries I work with:
- Decentralized System: Blockchain is a trust-less system that utilizes a certain mechanism to validate blocks/transactions. There is no need to rely on some intermediary which especially acts as a threat to many modern day paradigms.
- Security: This is the benefit of maintaining such an immutable ledger as we see with bitcoin as an example – every transaction is secured, and this can be applied to many different markets.
- Transparency: As we see with Bitcoin and Ethereum, all transactions are available in the public chain.
This list can go on for a while, but these are some good examples.
